Separate vocals and music
Turn an audio or video file into two downloadable tracks. Use it when you need the speech or singing on its own, or want the music without the vocals.

Choose your file
Open Tools → Vocal & Music Separator. Drop an audio or video file onto Your original, or choose a file. Supported formats include MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV, MP3, WAV, M4A, FLAC and OGG. The file must contain audio and be no larger than 200 MB. There is no 10-minute limit.

Check the price and separate
The button shows the estimated Nerdium cost once the file’s duration is available. Press Separate vocals & music to start. The server checks the duration before charging; if the verified price differs, you must confirm it first. Longer recordings take longer to process.

Preview both tracks
When processing finishes, play Vocals to hear the voice track, or Music to hear the background track. Your original file stays unchanged. Results depend on the recording: overlapping sounds can leave traces in either track.

Download what you need
Download either track as MP3 or WAV. Video uploads also offer a video download with the selected track. Both tracks and all available downloads are included in the separation price.

Return within 24 hours
Open the separator while signed into the same account with a paid plan and use Previous files to reopen a result for free. Results expire 24 hours after processing completes; reopening does not extend that deadline. Moving to Free blocks access even before expiry. Download what you want to keep while your plan allows access, before the files are automatically deleted.
Pricing and failed jobs
Vocal & Music Separator requires a paid plan: Starter, Creator, Studio or Agency. It costs 1 Nd per minute of uploaded audio, rounded up with a minimum charge of 1 Nd. For example, at this rate a 2 minute 10 second recording costs 3 Nd. Both tracks and all available downloads are included. Failed jobs are refunded; a pending refund is retried automatically. Upload audio or video files up to 200 MB. Download your results while on a paid plan and within 24 hours of completion, before they are automatically deleted. Moving to Free blocks access to saved results. Separation quality depends on the recording. This is separate from the finished-video minutes shown on the plan cards.
If the connection drops, the page continues checking your existing job. Avoid uploading again while it is processing. A failed job is refunded; when a refund is pending, the page shows its status while the refund is retried.
