This Privacy Policy explains how PLAY ROX DIGITAL MEDIA L.L.C, a limited liability company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates under trade licence 1215978 (“we,” “us”), acts as data controller and handles personal data in connection with AI Nerdy (the “Service”). This Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we use it, who it may be shared with, how long it is kept and the choices available to you. Questions: support@ainerdy.com.
1. What we collect

We retain this information when an account is created or a checkout is started. Infrastructure and service providers may also record request information in their operational logs. |
We do not use advertising trackers or create advertising profiles. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics records the pages you visit, device and browser information, approximate location and how you reached the site. We do not send account or content data to Google Analytics.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service — analyze your clip and generate the script, voiceover, and captions.
- To operate, secure, maintain, debug, and improve the Service.
- With your consent, to understand visits and page usage through privacy-limited analytics.
- To prevent abuse, enforce our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy, and comply with law.
We process account information, uploaded content and generated content to provide the Service and perform our agreement with you. We process limited technical and transaction information to secure the Service, prevent fraud, resolve disputes and comply with legal obligations. We use Google Analytics only with your consent.
AI Nerdy does not use your uploaded or generated content to train its own AI models. We send service providers only the information needed to perform the requested feature. Their processing and retention practices are governed by their own terms and our agreements with them.
3. Who we share it with (subprocessors)
We do not sell your data. To provide the Service, your content is processed by the following third parties, each under its own terms and privacy policy:

The Service is hosted on managed cloud infrastructure located in the United States. We also use service providers that may process or store data in other countries, as described in this Policy. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights, safety or property of users or the public.
4. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies for sign-in, security, customer-work ownership and remembering your cookie choice. Optional Google Analytics cookies are disabled until you consent. The banner offers equally available accept, reject and preference controls, and rejecting analytics does not limit the Service. Use the footer’s Cookie settings control to change or withdraw your choice. Cookie names, purposes and durations are listed in our Cookie Policy.
5. How long we keep it
Finished videos are kept for fourteen (14) days and are then permanently deleted, unless you save them. Saving a video removes its deadline and keeps it for as long as your account is open and it stays saved; saved videos count towards your plan’s storage allowance. You can see each video’s remaining time, and save it, from the Storage or Projects page. This is set out in full in Section 9 of the Terms of Service.
Uploaded clips and working files are temporary. They are kept only while the job that needs them is running and are removed automatically shortly afterwards — source clips within hours of the render finishing. Independently of the above, older unsaved projects and their generated media are also pruned once your library exceeds a set number of items.
Files sent to a subprocessor (for example, an upload analyzed to write your script) are subject to that provider’s own retention. We keep backups for a limited period in the ordinary course of operating the Service, so a deleted item may persist in a backup for a short time before ageing out.
6. Your choices & rights
Where applicable, you may ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, restrict or object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. You may also complain to the data-protection authority responsible for your location.
To exercise these rights, email support@ainerdy.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.
California & other U.S. states. If you are a resident of California or another U.S. state with a privacy law, you may request to access, delete, correct, or receive a portable copy of your personal information, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email support@ainerdy.com.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data and restrict access to customer content. No online service can guarantee complete security.
8. Children
AI Nerdy is not intended for anyone under 18, and people under 18 may not create an account. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe that someone under 18 has provided us with personal data, contact support@ainerdy.com.
9. Changes
We may update this Policy when the Service or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and take reasonable steps to notify you of material changes. Where consent is required for a new use of personal data, we will ask for it before that use begins.
